Xīn Kuān Duō Rú Yì, Jiā Jìng Dé Píng Ān is written
心宽多如意，家静得平安. Xīn Kuān suggests an open, spacious mind;
Duō Rú Yì speaks to more moments in which things unfold as one hopes.
Jiā Jìng means a quiet home, while Dé Píng Ān expresses finding peace,
safety, and well-being. The English title is an interpretive
expression, not a word-for-word translation.

Together, the two lines place inner spaciousness alongside domestic
quiet. They offer a gentle vision of home—not perfection, but room
for understanding, calm, and the everyday ease of living well.

The separate-panel files allow the couplet to be displayed as two vertical works. The combined files offer two single-piece options: the 1:2 version preserves the traditional tall composition for custom-size printing, while the 4:5 version places the complete pair within a standard frame-friendly canvas.

For the traditional arrangement, place “Xin Kuan Duo Ru Yi” on the right and “Jia Jing De Ping An” on the left when facing the artwork.

Each file preserves the complete calligraphy, with the surrounding composition adjusted to suit its format.

For printing, choose the version that best suits your intended display. In the print preview, select Fit, Fit to page, or Center, and turn off automatic cropping or fill where possible.

For the closest result to the original artwork, we recommend matte fine-art paper, cotton rag, or heavyweight archival paper.

Each Bokwai work begins with real brush, ink, and Xuan paper. The paper is selected for its response to brush and ink, and some sheets may come from studio stock kept for years before use.
Natural fibers, subtle tonal variation, faint flecks, or traces of age may remain where they do not disturb the work. These are part of the material character of real paper, not digitally generated texture.
The original is carefully prepared as a digital artwork while preserving its brushwork, paper tone, seals, and material character. Digital tools are used for cleanup and presentation, never to replace the handwritten source.
