Shipping policy
Shipping & Digital Delivery
Bokwai currently delivers its artworks and commissions as digital files. No paper original, print, frame, clothing, mug, or other physical item is shipped unless the product page explicitly says otherwise. Objects shown in photographs and previews illustrate possible uses and are not included with a digital purchase.
Existing artworks
For a completed artwork marked as an instant download, a download link is provided after successful payment. The product page lists the files, sizes, and formats included. Please download and save a copy of your files after purchase.
Personal Artwork commissions
A personal commission is created for you after checkout and is not an instant download. The studio reviews your brief by email, then sends the proposed Chinese wording and its English meaning for your confirmation before Artist Xu begins the brushwork.
The standard timing is a wording proposal within 2 business days. After you approve the wording and meaning, the final digital package is prepared no later than:
- 1 business day for A Short Original
- 3 business days for A Longer Work
- 5 business days for A Pair of Originals
- 7 business days for A Personal Collection
The delivery clock pauses while your confirmation is pending. You may share a date to consider in the editor, but it is confirmed only when the studio replies by email. Your completed files are sent digitally; the files included with each original are shown in the editor before checkout.
Brand projects
For a brand or commercial project, the scope, file formats, delivery method, and schedule are agreed individually before work begins. The Personal Artwork timelines above do not apply to these projects.
Delivery help
Digital orders do not have a parcel or tracking number. If you cannot access an instant download or have not received expected custom files, please email hello@bokwai.com with your order number so we can help.
